Give your wrapping supplies one small drawer
Three storage zones for paper, tools and finishing pieces, with room left to put things back.

A wrapping station does not need to be a piece of furniture. One shallow drawer can hold a useful kit if the contents fit the projects you make. Measure before buying dividers, and try clean boxes you already own. Keep full-size rolls somewhere else if they do not fit: bending everything into one drawer defeats the purpose.
Measure the usable space
Empty the drawer and measure its inside width, depth and height. Check the clearance needed to close it, including any lip above the opening. Place your tallest item inside and close the drawer gently before arranging the rest. Do not overload the drawer or exceed the furniture manufacturer's guidance.
Zone one: paper
Reserve a flat area for folded sheets, tissue and a slim envelope of scraps. Keep the stack shallow enough to lift without disturbing the other zones. Separate heavily colored or delicate paper if its finish could mark neighboring sheets. Store paper somewhere dry and away from sources of heat.
Zone two: tools
Set scissors, a ruler, tape and a pen together in a low tray. Keep blades closed and follow the tools' storage instructions. Make this zone easy to lift onto the table for a project, then return as a unit. If children can reach the drawer, store sharp tools separately in a suitable secure place.
Zone three: finishes
Give tags and paper bands their own small box. Label the front rather than the lid so the contents are identifiable when the drawer is open. Leave an empty patch for returning supplies; filling every gap makes a reset harder. Close the drawer, open it again and check that nothing catches or slides.

No. Fit and easy access matter more. Clean boxes with firm sides can help you try the arrangement before buying anything.
What belongs outside the drawer?
Oversized rolls, bulky boxes and anything that needs secure storage. A compact drawer does not have to contain the whole collection.
